Yes a lot in west Africa (especially Liberia) after slavery was abandoned in the US in the late 19th century groups migrated back..google for "American Colonization Society"...

am half gambian and have lived ther half my life..its ok there but other places are better or maybe its just cus am tired of the country..(am not living there anymore)
