This game was art in the making, and I think it was amazing, and I am proud I completed the Atrium Maze. Necropolis and Arena were beyond me. Still, maybe I have the time. Anyone want to take the challenge again? Would love to see a post of the solutions to all 3 mazes. Maybe one of the winners will show?

  • It would have been amazing if the Spectrum had this sound capabilities! What's the music?

  • So wanted to win that Porsche but it was such a tough game.

  • i remember being in awe of this game.

I was like "WOW, how did they do filled circles like that for the graphics" remember reading somewhere that the coder had written a special bit of code for it.

Great game. Where's the awe today :(

  • The prize was a Porsche 911 and it was won. The finalists had to compete head-to-head in a special version of the maze created just for the competition. This was later made available for sale as 'Gyron Arena.'

  • Written by my good friend Dominic Prior who also did the Spetrum Elite port while at Firebird. Amazing what turns up on YouTube.

  • Very nice choice of music!

  • I remember playing this,it had two different mazes one was impossible, the other was even more impossible,I think it had a £1000 prize for the first person to complete it,wonder if they ever lost there money, this game+first 3 tracks of Jarre,s Revolutions at the same time.Quality
