@snotrod68 Backspacing moves the center of the wheel inward. The more backspacing you have, the larger tire you can fit in the wheel well. Youll have to do some research to find out what backspacing you will need.

@LilCosco08 I have a chevy shortbed that I'm interested in putting some rims on like your nova. can i ask why is it necessary to have a backspacing? What is a good backspacing and what does it do?
I'm trying to learn a little bit of everything as I build my truck. any tips would be greatly appreciated.
