At the end of the day, we the people, assign the value to a game, or any collectible for that matter. If there's more people interested (demand), naturally the price is going to rise. This can and will happen regardless of the quantity available (supply).

  • @KryptoBeatz Ya I agree! Love the opinion, I feel the same. Coming out with a video tonight that'll be titled "Screw Rare Games!" lol

  • yea, i would buy pokemon blue complete for more than its worth because i grew up with the game, have sentimental value in it, have a strong vision remembering that i kept the box, and its a fun game. i would pay 35$, at the most maybe 40$ but usually, an average person would pay 20 or 25$ for it

  • @97Retrogamenerd yup luckily i got all of the pokemon games, most cib for 90$ alon with extra boxes and boxed gba

  • @TheKnottyPuppy Ya Action 52 ;) And ya..wow...Cheetahmen 2..if only :P Thanks!

  • I see rarity based on scarcity, while value is based on emotion. When you look at a game like Flintstones Surprise at Dino Peak, that game is genuinely difficult to find. I saw you had it in your collection video, so I'm assuming you know the backstory. The price that game goes for is high, but it makes sense. Now, let's take Pokemon on the Gameboy. Everybody and their mother had that game when it released, yet blue/red version CIB can fetch an easy $50. That's based more on personal connection.

  • @LottnerLand grr, do you think you have more memories of the games than i did?

  • I would totally trade a ton of common games for a game like earthbound or bubble bobble! I will be so jealous of you if you get action 52 (assuming that was the game you were talking about). You also need to get cheetah men 2 haha.

  • @tonymoyoy Ya for sure! Gotta love the thrill of the chase :)
