The Binary Routine is an original series of moves that I made. The tutorial is going to be in three parts, this being the first. I made 9 phases of the Binary Routine, 6 of which are false, and the other 3 are closers that involve a color card change at the end. In each of the 3 parts of the tutorial, I'll teach you 2 false cuts and 1 closer, along with some possible variations. Just keep in mind, you don't have to do any of these phases the way I teach them. If you find a better way to do a certain move, then by all means, do it the way you want. You can choose to listen to the speech to help you along, or watch the text on the screen instead if the speech is too confusing.

The Binary Routine requires a few simple prerequisites: the Charlier Cut, a 3-packet Sybil, the Swivel/Pivot Cut, and a 180 degree packet flip. The one move I'll teach you is called the Binary Flip. Once you learn that move, you can start learning the phases of the Binary Routine.

How the phases are named:
Every phase is named as an equation. The "BIN" in every phase refers to what kind of cuts are used and where the first binary flip usually happens.

If it's BIN/X, it starts with a swivel cut and usually the first binary flip happens with the top packet. If it's X/BIN, then it starts with a Sybil and usually the first binary flip happens with the middle packet. The binary number is the number of packets manipulated in the routine.

BIN/X: Starts with Swivel Cut
X/BIN: Starts with Sybil Cut
11(in binary)=3
100(in binary)=4

The 2nd and 3rd parts of the tutorial will have more elements in the equations which I will explain when I upload those videos.

  • nice actually you use binary in number system right ? hehehe ,

  • I'm taking computer networking this school year and the fact that I knew binary beforehand really helped out a lot.

    XD

  • do vipers have an air cushion finish

  • Well, Ellusionist cards have something called UV500 Air Flow finish. The main distinction between that and Air Cushion is that UV500 glows under a blacklight although some people will tell you that UV500 handles better which...I guess I could agree with somewhat.

  • cool now nerds are doing magic and xcm

  • Whaaaatever T.T

  • WOW!! you are the coolest nerd there is. But then if you are cool then you are not a nerd. LOL

  • Swivel and pivot cut are different. You are using the swivel cut. The pivot cut is when you use your index finger at the closer-edge (near your right thumb) of the deck to swing a packet out into the left hand.

  • is that xcm?

  • no it is if u mean tally ho viper

  • how to download this video??

  • thank you so much for video :)
