Sherwood Forest Camp Slideshow

Sherwood Forest Camp is an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) agency that creates healthy, caring communities where children develop character and competence. Since 1937, Sherwood Forest Camp has served over 30,000 children from the St. Louis metropolitan area. We help them realize a future beyond anything they could have imagined and provide them with the tools to achieve it.

Our camp is located one hundred miles south of St. Louis on 487 acres outside of Lesterville, Missouri. It includes forests, meadows, a 15-acre lake, creeks, a mud cave, and nearby state parks. Camp introduces children to nature, often for the first time, and allows them to discover the beauty, wisdom, and fun of the natural environment.
