Unforeseen Tears

Fire-inspired mind of a crystal shard,
Opening future memories too hard,
Playing life for fate with that last card,
At last she smiles for roses jarred,

She works across the street from me,
Just between us, she's perfect you see,
Lovely minds alike, we sit to drink tea,
No love story here, we are just friends to be,

Desperate, she screams her life but no one hears,
Waiting for the fall they stand in dark leers,
She breathes her last breath for me in tears,
Those evil, cast her final fears,

She worked across the street from me,
Just between us, she was perfect you see,
A lovely mind alone, I sit to drink tea,
No love story here, I wait for her without glee.
