you know, i thought that any kind of bus MUST stop before crossing the train track in ontario. i mean, not like in afghanistan i bet you there is no such a thing as trains. please reply.

always been wondering, do u guys hold the camera and film, or put the camera on a stand. cause once when i went to the richmond hill go train station to film trains, i saw a bunch of guys with an expensive camera on a stand right about the same distance you were filming, and started filming the trains u mind repliying?

I doubt if any railroad transmits on the "CB" radio (11 meters). Maybe some third world country where they pile about 300 people, goats and chickens in/on a car designed for 72. I think they are running microwave or F.M. signals. I ain't no radio expert but 11 meters? I don't think so. "Breaker-Breaker...any takers?"
Signals are activated through the tracks. Different sections of the track are separated into circuits that are completed by the axles on the trains. These crossing grades were installed when there was more freight traffic and as a result the signals are activated about 250 meters before the crossing. When the train leaves the station, a crossing code is keyed in over CB radio. This is processed by CN Rail activating the crossing. I have another video if this crossing with a scanner if interested
