Hollman Morris is an internationally acclaimed journalist who in his weekly television show, Contravia, boldly confronts the violence that ravages his homeland of Columbia. While he wins prestigious awards abroad, at home he is faced with death threats and intimidation. This also puts a strain on his family life; his wife prefers that he join the countless journalists who have sought asylum in Europe, but he is committed to remaining where he is and to continue the struggle for freedom of speech.
