Operation Wooden Leg-Open Falcon 4.5

On October 1, 1985, the Israeli Air Force launched Operation Wooden Leg, a strike on the PLO headquarters in L'Ariana, Tunisia near Tunis. The strike served as retaliation against an earlier event where PLO personnel murdered three civilians aboard a private yacht in the Mediterranean Sea. The air strike was executed by eight, newly acquired F-15E's using precision guided ordnance. Open Falcon 4.5, a mod for the original Falcon 4.0, was used to re-create the attack. My interpretation of the strike was with the "loft" bombing method and GBU-12 Laser Guided Bombs to allow a standoff advantage for the F-15E's and maintain accuracy while laser designating the target.

I have a 2.2ghz AMD Athelon x2 +5000, a Nvidia Geforce 6100 nforce 405 and a gig of ram, will my computer run this game?

you have plenty of processing power but the graphics card might be slightly weak. Google search "f4forums" and check for a list of compatible graphics cards. Search "Hardware not compatable with OF" to see a list of hardware that will and will not work with OF.

I found a fourm that discussed that, it said that if your Geforce is before the 8 series, then you are fine (my card is updated anyway)

yes that is true. for some reason in Open Falcon it usually is as follows: "the older the better" You should be ok. To get this mod you must have falcon 4.0 installed on to your computer.

oh ok, I was talking about allied force though, that should run on my computer right? Also, I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro ,some have complained that it was a challange to get it to work, have you heard of this?

allied force is very lenient on hardware, so I am very sure that your computer will easily handle allied force. As with the joystick, I have the Extreme 3d Pro and its been great. Its very durable and ergonomic. It looks like your a "go" for falcon!

@davidds0 Of course we said they were terrorists, we had to protect Israel security etc. so in order to thank the only arab country which actually recgnized Israel and accepted to protect Yasser Arafat family and political members to leed to a true peace process which Israel of course do its best to accomplish, they did this heroic action...I don't know what would be the situation if they didn't...

@terror206 they were not F15Es, they were regular 2 seated modified planes with data-link pods for the GBU-15s and with 6 MK82 bombs in the center pylons.

No F-16's were involved in this mission.

@hubergeek Do you know anything about the operation wooden leg??It took place in 1985.In 1985 the F-15E didn't exist.IAF had F-15A/B/C/D in 1985.These F-15s are not bombers.They are Air Superiority Fighters.The primary attack planes in operation wooden leg were F-16s and the escort planes were F-15s.The first F-15E flew in 1986.Do you know what is the F-15E.........????
