@LQQKR1 Overhauling a plasser tamper express at the moment, shutdown for bout 2 weeks.

Its A Continuous action tamper .. lifts , lines and cross levels the track .. production can be up to a1/2 mile or more an hour with the right conditions.

@PetrolHeadGav it lifts the track up and packs the ballast (rocks) to make the track more durable. newer machines align the track at the same time.

pain in the arse lol 4 in the morning they take it out for a joyride n wake me up :(

@PetrolHeadGav Ha Ha yeah I know what you mean! these buggers have woken me up aswell!
What they do is lift up the sleeper and pack the stones underneath so in the end you get a more level stable track :)

Its for tightening the bolts and stuff so the tracks dont fall apart

ini namanya mesin pecok, fungsinya adalah memadatkan batu balas supaya rel tidak ambles. Kalo balasnya padat, relnya jadi stabil, kereta meluncur mulus serasa di atas salju.
