Pokemon Battle Revolution -- May 30 09

This was the first battle I ever had with my OHKO team. It was against an uber n00b. That's why Kingler was on the roster. I was learning as I go here. You also see Hypno's role on the team as well. Trick room is handy to not only outrun faster enemies but to cancel out opponent's trick rooms, whose Pokemon will likely be slower since my team is not dedicated to the move. Dewgong's rain dance is also handy to cancel out other team's weather effects. Two major team themes (weather changes and trick room) are always good to have counters to.

I figured Zapdos wouldn't OHKO Articuno unless it had max special attack EVs with a life orb or something since all its EVs are put into its defenses. Articuno probably would have survived Giratina's draco meteor had it not critically hit. I ignored Giratina after that though because of its special attack drop. As Machamp started OHKOing everyone Hypno started copying Machamp's boosts to itself. It takes 2 turns but after that it can OHKO anything. It was pretty easy since Giratina's dark pulse became pathetically weak because of draco meteor.

I used Articuno, Machamp, Hypno, and Ditto (unseen). My opponent used Giratina, Zapdos, Lugia, and Dialga.

Machamp survived a drill peck from a zapdos. I'd like to see you play this team against an opponent who knew how to properly EV train pokemon...and had some idea of the general game.

The opponent really was terrible...

@xScytheWPx The other videos of this team are all against people who know what they are doing. And Machamp can easily survive a drill peck from Zapdos since all its EVs are in its defenses. Zapdos' physical attack isn't that high.

It can be spelled either way. No beginner is using a OHKO strategy like this. They just have a Kyogre shoot off a sheer cold and pray it hits.

Wow man, you play so tactically, it's cool :) I tend to just go all out offensive XD In fact, the only tactics I use are sleep moves and paralysis moves. My hypno plays differently to yours: Like I said I play all out offensive. So I tend to just hit them with hypnosis and then use dream eater. Work awesome most of the time. Even against steel and dark type pokemon where it's not that effective.
