What kind of solar panels do you guys run ??? TRying to get set up for a trip from n.c to the bahamas and currently have no solar.... Thanks for all the great info and sails... fair winds

@Mcleod1370 Our solar panels are by Sunsei. We got them at West Marine where they have since been discontinued. The reason we chose that particular model was for the mounting system.

You may not remember me but I had asked about you VHF. Well I Just mounted and installed the new Standard Horizon GX1600 Explorer today! Would have gone with Uniden or Cobra sure glad i didnt these things are really slick!! One question, have you guys done any cruising around alaska or british columbia?

@AdmiralScoti Yes, we do remember and yes, we have cruised BC - Victoria, Sidney, Maple Bay and the Gulf Islands. Alaska is next on our list. Next summer.
