Strengthen your gluteus maximus with the shoulder bridge. Your gluteus maximus is probably weak if your knees cave in or bow out, or if you have an anterior pelvic tilt (low back is too arched) or posterior pelvic tilt (low back is too flat). Strengthening weak gluteus maximus muscles can help prevent injury.
