I heard this on the radio while I was driving and I started to cry. I had to pull over because I thought this must be what it sounds like in heaven. I didn't even get all the words, but it lifted me up so high. What an amazing song!

I agree, this is one of the most beautiful Christmas songs...all the other 'worldly' songs about santa can't even compare. And, that's the way it should be..darkness and light, oil and water, sin and righteousness, worldliness versus holiness.

@FromALateRose it has to do with the dynamics of the song. if you look at the actual music of the song, it starts at double piano and builds at the end to forte for the effect
