  • This is a wonderful video. Do you have a year of when the interview was?

  • The Wild Places was released in 1990, I believe this was done while he was prompting it.

  • May God bless and keep you Dan. You gave us so many wonderful years.

  • he was the complete package,"seldom seen a scarecrows dream..his writing always blew me away..he changed me

  • one of my biggest regrets is never to have seen him live ...if only ..if only...if I ever get to heaven maybe then....

  • @brooksider926 Like you the one time I saw Dan it was just him at an ampitheater~just knew! all would be drinking, partying, etc., & would not be able to hear him at all. Just Dan resplendent in a tuxedo playing a Grand Piano & you could have heard a pin drop in the audience; it was "A Given" by all who attended; he had everyones' undivided attention; we all loved him~his music~all were there to hear Dan. It was THE BEST "Concert" we ever attended. There will never be another....

  • I saw Dan a looong tme ago at the Kennedy Center in DC. Just him, a mic, a stool and a glass of water, and he played for three solid hours. One of the best concerts EVER!

  • kathy keeps talking, but one listens

  • I learned some Dan Fogelberg tunes ... Scarecrow's Dream, Longer etc. ...

The amazing thing about Longer was the beautiful open tuning he used on the

guitar. G,A,D,G,B,D ... that tuning was so perfect - and the way the hands

fit the chords when you play it (note for note - exactly as played by Dan). It is/was a wonderful experience just learning and playing this guy's music. One of the most pure voices ever. ~Jack Gallup

  • God continues to speak through the songs of dan Fogelberg. Before I am a Jason Mraz fan, I will always be a Dan Fogelberg fan. I thank him for the impact he has had in my own spirit.

  • He took a piece of my life with him. Thanks for posting.
