This is my friend Josh's old moped, we were cleaning out their barn and they were going to scrap it but they decided to give it to me so i'm going to try to get it running. lots of memories with this old noped, we used to ride it all over the farm back in the mid 1990s :D

  • nice score :D, Honda's are unbeatable!

is the slide in the carb moving up and down with the throttle cable? it could just be a broken cable.

if its a 2 stroke it may have a automatic oiler on the other side of the carb ( the thing with the lever on it)

  • @Aussie50 Yeah it's moving, I think the main problem was a really dirty carburetor because it runs a bit better now that i've cleaned it. just needs an air box now.

  • What did the odometer say ? I couldn't read it. Looks like a nice project man

  • @1972FordF150 I think it says 5142 and 7/10

  • Wow thats awesome! how old are you man?

  • @walkingfreak 30, why? lol

  • This brings back alot of memories. I has a shit load of those when I was a kid.

    Nice find

  • the exact year of this moped is 1982

  • what is the model number and serieal number because i think this is older then the 80's

  • That's a great project for a pressure washer.

  • Cool NU-50, If you need any advice let me know or check out my videos.

  • @douro20 The urban express are a belt driven system, it also has a variator.

  • Disable the oil injector for sure, start pre-mixing with a 40:1 ratio. Don't worry about the air filter. Shit, buy a real exaust too.

That other mechanism is the oil pump, just remove it and use a quater and some jb weld to cover the hole.

also pimp it out with a 70cc Honda DR kit, 21mm Dellorto phbg carb, get a DIO CT 26mm intake, week-ends exaust. just spend like 800 bucks and you'll have a crazy ripper.

  • Being a Honda, it should have the model year on the chassis sticker in very large numbers.
