@biffisawshome yes. triangular blades were commonly carried by women in the middle ages as their anti rape tools. (or so i've heard) i would love to have a triangular blade, after all, i would not pull a knife on anyone unless i intended to use it to full effect.

You can slice and dice and open up someone like guttting a pig with a 2" blade.

@akim333 Actually, the best thing for self defense/killing is a three-sided knife, they even outlawed it in the army because you can't stitch up a hole like you can a slash, lol.

Maybe a narrower blade would penetrate better, and be lighter? like a dagger! But it wouldn't look as cool as this blade.

for the purpose of fighting/self defense, a longer, narrower, and double sided blade is better. (ala fairbain).
the shape of your knife lends itself to slashing; but when you're looking to kill someone as quickly as possible, the best way to do that is to puncture vital organs. (heart, lungs, etc.)

@akim333 thanks for the tip man. like i said, i have absolutely no experience or training in such a things. the opinions tend to differ as i noticed. i guess it depends on the type of martial arts or self defense methods. some people prefer slicing, some stabbing... i think me personally if i ever have to use such a tool, i would be slashing and backing off trying to escape rather then close in for stabbing. but who know, better not even think about such a situations lol... thanks, cheers :)

@Elliotw11 yeah i definitely will. am curious since i have absolutely no experience or training with self defense knives and he does a lot. and hes a good buddy so will be happy to have him take a look at it.
