Everybody's bashing Gnome3 for making a different UI than Gnome2 just like ppl did when Win7 came out. I did it either but with 1 month of usage time I came to love it. Nearly the same with Gnome3 just a little more time, okay it need a bit of tweaking (like right click, desktop icons etc) but with or without those, Gnome3.2 is just getting better, looks they've realized that an ultimately-simple UI is not the way to go. (don't have to follow that shit apple)

@CruelVids No, you may not be a nerd, but you use linux so you are a geek. Unless a geek installed it for you and said "Hey, try this!". I didn't mean geek in a derogatory way. I did find out that some pronounce it Guh-Nome, but it sounds so silly to say it that way even if you say Guh-Nu. In fact if you say Guh-Nome you do come out sounding like a nerd and that's really what I meant in my comment.  We don't have to perpetuate the stereo type that geeks are nerds.

I for one am not a geek. I'm subbed to this guy because I use linux and like to keep myself up to date.
