I have to agree that it is a bit odd to release only the first part of issue 1 in print. I would have been confused about the direction of the story if I hadn't been reading online. As a whole, though, I think the story flows very smoothly. Hopefully the print comic gives a link to the website!

Well, what confused me about the first is that he was talking to someone and I didn't know. It did hint that he was recalling the memory.

I thought the transition was okay because of the hint, but maybe I just read too many fanfictions *cough*

I like the review, personally, I haven't read the drawn but that's because I discovered the link by chance on another webcomic.

Liked it. I think you guys give good reviews, I mean, maybe I don't agree on some things, but it is all opinion.

I don't know, I didn't find the transition all that awkward between issue one and issue two. I really didn't have a problem. Though i do understhat what the middle guy is talking about, I really had to get used to the "too perfect" art style of the comic.

The guy in the middle is critiquing the art *style*?

So the art in Zelda: The Wind Waker wasn't as good as Ocarina of time because it was cel-shaded instead of "realistic"? WoW isn't as good as EQ2 because it has a "cartoony" art style?

He's not going for photorealism (and he may not have the render farm for it); he's going for a 3D cartoon sort of look and feel. And I don't see how you can't say he did it well.

I haven't seen the print version of Dreamland Chronicles. I've been reading it online, though, and I thought the story transitioned quite smoothly. Hmm . . . I might have to go find the printed version and see what you're talking about.
