Alfie by Burt Bacharach

This is the great, great tune Burt Bacharach composed in 1966. Bacharach uses a meandering melody and non-traditional changes, but somehow it all works. Alfie provides a lot of opportunities for switch ups, i.e. chord subs, breif key changes, etc. I pushed the harmonic subs pretty far out. Because this song is so well known, I wanted to move it away from it's usual presentation. The challenge is leaving enough familiar material in the performance so that it is still recognizable. I don't know how well I did that, but I had fun with it.

I am trying out another software piano. This is Galaxy II Steinway by Best Service. It's a very playable piano, and I think it has a lot of possibilities. It's a great addition to the Ivory pianos I already have.

@americasgottalent97 I record the scrolling score in GarageBand as it plays the midi file. I use MidiKeyz to record the digital keyboard. I use ScreenFlow to record the screen and to layer the three videos into one. Thx.
