  • @botsysguy I'm not a troll. I graduated right next to Calbert Cheaney in 93 and I love the school and the team. I go to a home game once a year. Calling me stupid is what a troll does, and what Bobby Knight would do, because he's an angry old bully who is stuck in his way and could not adapt to the changing game. It got in the way, and tarnished the school and hurt the team. The lionized teams are rightly lionized but the game is more complex, more dynamic today, and he couldn't manage it.

  • @cebrough

You have copied and pasted that on almost every Knight clip on here. That makes me think two things. #1 You are just a troll #2 You are not an IU alum, and are just saying that thinking that will lend your rants some validity. As far as the comment about the Power Five team, how stupid can you be? In any sport, teams from the 70's would get beaten by modern day teams. They were great teams in their era, and you can't compare any team from yesteryear to a modern day team.

  • As a proud IU alum from the Knight years I can say that Bobby Knight is still raging egomaniac and an embarrassment to IU. He was a great coach until the early 80s but the game and its players passed him by because he was utterly unadaptable and stuck in his own self-righteous worldview and the past. He's a contemptible man who is a part of history but has little relevance to the game as it's played today. Any Power Five team would crush the vaunted 70s teams today.

  • sorry got caught up in the media. excellent video bdgambler. my way fit the ending.

  • that photo with reagan is the knight i will always have etched in my mind. got to say the man wasnt a fake. wish some men would follow his steps in the coaching realm. the panzy media wont let it happen though. knight got away with it because of his legacy. you gotta know there were celebrations throughout media circles. i would like to know how many of those reporters pissed their pants throughout the years

  • Fantastic Video...Thank you for that!!!

  • Great video!!! love the musical selections...he is one of the best coaches of ALL time and definitely one of my favorites...REALLY enjoyed this...
