Everyone knows this game is bad. For me to tell you that would be beating a dead horse. It's a shame though because this game would be a lot better if they fixed some problems like the controls and the huge collision boxes.

I'm surprised I did ok while recording this, considering the video recorder in Gens causes it to lag some.

Friend requested I record myself playing lol.

Wow, I think this is the first time I've ever heard the music from the Sega Genesis version... Why is it lacking so much in comparison to the SNES version? I mean, Sega Genesis can do better than that, just look at Rocket Knight Adventures, that game really knew how to use Sega Genesis' sound system!

that tends to happen with games that are for snes and gens. the snes version has superior sound while the genesis version either has slightly better graphics or deeper colors.

and i dont know why that is, the genesis is capable of much better sound. probably laziness on the programmers part

Why the fuck do people hate on the original Bubsy? It's a fun game. I put probably 100+ hours into it as a kid.

@koolkitty8989 Great point. Actually, that made me think of a PC game I played called Loom. There was a Sound Blaster/Adlib version, but I saw the demo of the FM Towns version when I first saw the game. That's what made me want to get it in the first place. Discworld was the same way, the FM Towns version of the music got used in the Playstation version, for the most part. Despite that there was some stuff I liked that was made in Adlib.

It's mainly the sound engine and the composers. Some developers used better sound engines and/or were much better at using the Genesis's synth hardware than others and some put more effort in than others. (you had the same problem with PC games using Adlib/sound blaster sound except that synth chip is a bit more limited than the Genesis's -more channels, but less flexible- the Soundblaster-16's synth chip was better though -still got underused in many cases though)
