haha thats what i thought.. this was the original lake house.. i've seen bits and pieces of it.. its so gay how americanisation comes into asian culture.. i mean ok.. its fair to say that assimilation is great and all..but we lose all originality coz of them.. example is like "My Sassy Girl"... stupid yanks ruined it! T_T.. though.. thats not to say we dont do it to them either.. hehe... fake Nike's =P

i think it's perfectly fine if different cultures borrow movie plots from others as long as it's done respectfully.

although, i have to say i enjoyed il mare much much more than the lake house.

i can think of many other movies both cultures borrowed from one another and were actually really good!
