  • I'm a drummer and the roots are pretty much the only hip hop group I get into. I listen mostly to like jazz fusion and funk and shit, weird stuff not mainstream you know. I wish hip hop artists, producers, whatever would burn enough money in the studio to get good session guys to play the tracks. Drum machines have no soul man.

  • i love Jill Scott I love The Roots im in my twenties am i strange

  • a guy in my music shop in london spoke about ?uestlove and i said i dont know he was and he gave me this link on youtube, sincereley speaking i've never seen this quest before but wen i watched this video, 0.7 to 0.13 made me think this guy crazy with he laughed and his hair do bt he is deffinetly a badass drummer

  • I hate people. He is right. People dont know how to respect music. Fuckin sad. This generation is worth shit.

  • @mackfmocattack Well, obviously you do not like hip hop

  • @Applebaum . Yeah, you're strange. Nothin' wrong with that. I'm strange, too. It's awesome.

  • @mackfmocattack . If you've got soul, then you can put that soul into whatever you make--using drum machines to make music included. Ever hear of J Dilla?

  • saw him at Redbull threestyle in Denver, one of the best show's I've ever seen, just straigh jammin for 2 hours

  • You must never heard of a man named J Dilla..and what he was able to do with a drum machine

  • the greatest thing about this clip is the part from 0:07-0:12
