Day 55 Comber, Ontario Maiya Konanur Cox Olympic Torch Run December 23 2009

Maiya ran with the Olympic Flame on December 23, 2009 - Day 55 of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. She ran 300 metres in Comber, ON with the flame and she bought the torch she used in the run.

It was such an exhilarating experience for me,something that only happens once in a lifetime.I will never forget the feelings of great pride for this beautiful country and you reminded me of that when I got to see you run by.
