Is Ron Paul Racist? HIS OWN WORDS on racism blacks.flv

Out of all the videos on youtube, out of all the thousands of interviews he's given over the years, I dare anyone to show Ron Paul making any statement that even sounds racist or even predjudiced.

There were some newsletters written in the early 90's by somebody else in his district, or a supporter of some sort, he doesn't know who it was, with racist comments. Even tho it had his name on the newsletter, it was during the the time when he had just come home from his first stint in congress when he was busy starting a medical practice, and the issue wasn't raised by the media until 2002.

Here he is in his own words, refuting any idea that he has racist leanings.

Aside from the LULZ evoked from that statement. The logical question is. Have you met any liberterians? A lot of them are racist, but to emphasize how ridiculous it is to infer that a group of people cannot be racist. Isnt that collectivist thinking?Arent liberterians a group? ROFL!

So by Ron Pauls reasoning that only people who see things in groups can be racist...he just admitted that either he can be racist or hes a collectivist.

@ZhugeNaut Think a little deeper there, Zhugenaut, about what he means. He means that as individuals, true libertarians, or a true libertarian conforming to his viewpoint, cannot be racist. It should be understood that nobody can speak for a group of people.

Depends on your definition of course, I am sure you're right, that a lot of people who call themselves libertarian or even Libertarian, have racist tendencies. But a libertarian by Ron Paul's definition, shouldn't think of people as groups.

Ron Paul is the only candidate that defends black and gays. He is the only one who will stand up for the constitution and LIBERTY. He never wrote the racist newsletters and doesn't even know who wrote them or who was staffed because he was busy delivering thousands of babies, etc. Everything about Ron's actions and speech shows that he is for defending civil liberties and freedom.
