Since Valve was not gonna do this, I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I simply photoshopped the intro and slightly edited the outro from a different version. The translated versions of all the Meet the Heavy videos had updated intros and outros. So I simply made an English version with a correct intro and a better fitting outro.

Personally I put that outro because I like the Orange box. And I'm sure Valve wont reject free advertising. After all, their videos did include the orange box advertising. So why shouldn't the updated meet the Heavy have them too?

  • ...Valve made this video. I'm sorry, I read your description and the annotion but still, this is Valve's.

  • @Luxai Yes, it is. Valve later remade Meet The Heavy to be in line with the other Meet The videos. You can still find how it looked before they did it. I simply decided to do it first. I guess I should change the title, I see why people might find it misleading.

  • @asedtf But it looks the same as the official one. Or am I missing something?

  • @Luxai That just means I did a good job. only real difference? Well Windows Movie Maker had a bit of a hiccupt and fucked the aspect ratio. That's all really. And the fact Valve didn't attach an Orange Box commercial to the back. I just did what Valve did. I created a new intro screen, in English, like the other language Meet The Heavy videos, attached the new, non-beta outtro that the other Meet The Heavy videos have and... Voila. Just some photoshop on the intro and that's that.

  • hmmmm.....

The only difference I see is that the outro is different

    and more important........

This was posted a year before the meet the heavy video from valve's youtube account

Either they post things really late or what he says is true....

  • @smashcooper *Insert ValveTime joke here*

I'm surprised no one suggested I leaked it or something. Anyway, the video on Valve's account was posted later than on the actual TF2 website I think. I recall I was early by... 4 months or so? I don't know. But a whole year? Really? Impossible. Then again, after nine years in development, I guess it was worth the weight.

Oh shit. I just cancelled Episode 3.

  • @asedtf So you're saying you made a meet the heavy trailer that is virtually the same as the official one before Valve made it? Sorry dude, all respect, you're cool and so, but I don't believe you, unless you just submitted it to Valve and they decided to go with it.

  • It costs 400.000 dollar to fire this weapon....for 12 seconds.
