What a wonderful clip. You are a fine actor. Ann was an old pal of mine and she had quite the time on it, She said Lillian was a lady and Bette was a star. Actually when she spoke about the film she listed you as one of the "old pros" on it. thanks for the post and keep it up!

Thank you for the great comments. Harry Carey, Jr is indeed a fine actor and a very generous man who was an absolute delight to talk to in Lone Pine. I am sure that Ann would have some some great stories about the industry.

Thank you for your comments. You mention four great actors and it is a delight to see them in the one film. I believe the director, Lindsay Anderson enjoyed the experience, although he did find Bette Davis to be "difficult".

the only sin of omission was in 1987 that the Oscars neglected to nominate either and/or both Lillian Gish and/or Bette Davis as a Best Actress nominee, and Vincent Price as a Best Supporting Actor nominee. However it was nice to see Ann Southern recognized as a Supporting Actress nominee.

I'm delighted to see this. I edited Lindsay Anderson's Diaries. He would have been thrilled to hear Harry speaking so well of the film. John Ford was Lindsay's hero (and by association, Harry was too)
