@ididete Hum.... How do you hear a tiny voice? She has started as one of the most power lyric sopranos and with training and breath control she can one day sing Tosca, have you even ever listened to Anna Netrebko live, other than behind your laptop?
Sometimes some of the comments here make want to jump!

@vivegedda Anna is not a "machine lack of real expression and sincerity" . . . .
i've listen to opolais and i think karita mattila does it way better.
have you listen to Milada Šubrtová? awsome Rusalka! :D

Singing machine lack of real expression and sincerity but great voice. Listen to opolais

This song seems to be composed for Anna or sopranos. Some mezzo sing this but it goest better with a soprano voice.

@ididete oh come on! if you are not ok with the new voices don't listen to them, stick to the old ones :) no one is stopping you

In the old days tiny voices like Anna's used to be there just to make huge voices stick out more--today they are all that we have, unfortunately.
She was born to sing!

Two elements. The passion and the art.
The passion sings through. If the art can carry that passion, you can devolve to the basics: intonation, vibrato, portamento, you name it.
But the passion sings through. She does it.
Listening to her, you know what Rusalka longs for. With her deepest desire.
In a painting, you have both: paint and art. The one makes the other.
You have her voice, and you have her heart and spirit. That makes Rusalka.
