Oxide is not listed in the character select screen, so it will crash if you don't use him properly.
Press Select and R2 to switch to Oxide and Select and L2 to switch back to crash.

@CTRPolar Oxide works on all time trial courses but not arcade. But he works on all the battle arenas.

@GameSharkWizard btw oxide has a very advanced kart that seems to be floating. anyway it doesn't get in contact with the terrain.thats a huge advantage
