Thanks for the upload. The story has an open ending hence my optimism that Garrett may have survived the storm. Regardless of the real ending of the story, this movie has reinforced the wisdom contained in the passage "The real tragedy in life is NOT DEATH itself; rather it is the absence of a purpose in living." Garrett and Therese may not have known it at first but they have given inspiration to each other. Perhaps inspiring Therese was one of Garrett's divine appointments or design in life.

the book is much better than the movie every word in the letter of garett hits my heart....

the movie was a disapointment after reading the book...the book is SSOOO much better and they changed way to much for the movie if you ask me..it was still good though, if i had known i would have either just watched the movie or just read the book becuase its a good movie but after reading the book its a disapointment
