I am very pleased (and proud!) to announce the publication of our book The Alchemy of Thyme And Rubble, Poetry and Photos of the Marina Alta, by me, Samantha Muir (poetry) and Josie Elias (photos). The slideshow features some of the images in the book. The poetry is hard to include here so I have set it to a recording of me playing En Los Trigales by Joaquin Rodrigo from my CD, For Love..and a small bag of diamonds.

ABOUT THE BOOK:
This book was born out of a combination of a love of poetry and photography as an art, and a love of mountain walking in an area which abounds with sites of natural beauty and interest. The photographs are not only a visual record of what we have seen, but also an inspiration for the poetry, and both are a celebration of the diversity and magnificence of the landscape.
