Presented by Dr. Andrea Natale, MD, FACC, FHRS and Dr. David Burkhardt, MD, FACC of the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute at St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX.
The patient is a 50 year old male with significant coronary artery disease who has not yet required coronary artery bypass grafting. He has received multiple shocks for ventricular tachycardia despite medical therapy. The patient has a very rapid ventricular tachycardia that is not hemodynamically tolerated and has high burden PVCs that appear similar in morphology to those seen during his ventricular tachycardia.
