  • The Alphabet is one of the greatest literary achievements of the 20th/21st Century.

  • loved the section about clubs and batons.

  • her husband broke both of her ear drums! Jesus.

  • Thanks Geof, for taking the video and posting it here; and thanks Ron for allowing it to be.

The first 30 seconds, with the camera shooting most of Ron's front, is as a visual composition more interesting to me than the remainder of the video, which presents just the top of the lectern and upper approximately one-third of Ron.

Plus, Ron is a full-body reader, though it's very subtle: up close, or at the side, you can see: he sways and moves ( feet, hands, body) a bit. Head shots miss this.

  • 'they circled the seafood restaurant singing we shall not be moved', 'she introduces herself as a rape-survivor, yet his best friend was hispanic' & 'I used my grant to fix my teeth' - I'm lovin' it!
