Some wonderful interpretations there. He seems to have mastered one of the most difficult and complete pieces of Bach's works and can improvise at will. Wonderful technique .Extraordinary performance.

Marchione shares a unique vibe with the music, they are one and the same. Possessing a fine technique that ranges from confident and incisive to delicate and expressive, he is able to involve the listener in an unparalleled listening experience that casts a whole new light on the Chaconne. While some of his scale runs were taken a bit too fast in this live recording, no doubt a studio recording of Marchione's would be perfect in these areas.
