When the majority is allowed to vote on minorities' civil rights, Americans must step back from the voting booths and take a real look inside the lives of those they're affecting. Jay is a police officer and Gulf War veteran. His husband, Bryan, is a stay-at-home dad to their two adopted kids, Daniel and Selena. Their marriage was one of the 18,000 upheld when Prop 8 passed in California. People may not agree with homosexuality, but does that give Americans the right to deny equality for all citizens?
Sorry to be late to the comment party, but Congratulations guys (Cassie, Christina, Brian & Jay). Congratulations!

This is truly beautiful and moving.
Seeing all this hate that some perfectly harmless minorities are faced with is really saddening. People need to open their eyes and see them as individuals who are worth just the same as everyone else.
