Light Saber Crafting problem click more info for how they fixed it

I was having problems in the game Star Wars Galaxies crafting a Light saber. The support people from Sony gave me a list of things to try so I decided to make a movie of me following their suggestions so I could show them exactly what the problem was that I was having.

As you can see from the video (if you have any experience with the game) I was not getting the option to experiment with the construction of the saber and it was causing me a fair deal of grief.

After making the movie I attempted to send it to them however their system would not permit movie files so I place it here for them to see instead.

The end result was an amazing and Perplexing solution. I was told to pick up all of the crafting stations again and then travel to a different plant after arriving there I was to return to my original planet and my original house and then place the crafting stations back down and try again.

It worked. I was fairly surprised.

If you are also having similar problems to the one you see me having try picking up your stations and go planet hopping. After you have been around the planets come back to your original house and put your crafting stations back in place with any luck all your problems should be solved.

I had to edit the movie a little since youtube only allows for a 10 min movie and mine were close to 12 min so I continue to use the capture program allcapture to modify the file taking out the sections where I was typing what you see showing up in the chat bubble. I found all capture easy to use but since it is unlikely that I will ever need to do this again I found that the trial version was enough for my purpose. Which is why trial version shows up in the middle and outer edges of the screen. Can't be helped fortunately they are not that big and you can see around them to see what I was trying to convey.

when can jedi start crafting and using lightsabers and were do i get the things i need and how

at level 26 you get a artifact that will earn you a mission that will eventually gain you a training lightsaber and at level 30 you get the knowledge to build you very own first generation lightsaber. But you will have to buy a weapons crafting tool for your inventory and weapons crafting station for your home and the material to build your lightsaber from the bazarr or a friend.

i heard u can buy specific crafting kits off the Bazaar? ex: i wnt a double-bladed 1st gen lightsaber, but have none of teh materials. The kit is comes with that stuff? or is there a better way?

@SuMBuDDe42oE The light sabers themselves are no trade. as for the kits you refer to the ones I have seen are usually just backpacks with the necessary materials in them these are player made. the players just collect the necessary minerals when they become available and put them into a back pack for sale. As with any back pack item there is no garantee that what you are buying is what is actually in the pack. so you can be ripped off if you are not careful.

@SuMBuDDe42oE The safest way is to buy the minerals you need off the bazaar or vendors seperatly or to mine the minerals yourself when they become available. To mine the minerals you need a crafter friend to tell you where to put down the harvester when the minerals become available. this can take a very very long time because the good minerals are a very rare spawn. Buying them may be quicker but much more expensice then mining them yourself.
