David Cook & Ryan Star "Breathe" @ The Music Box, LA 9.9.09

Absolutely Stunning! The Performance of the Night!!! Ryan Star was a surprise opening addition to the show tonight for a short set. As he was starting his last song, "Breathe", David walked on stage and joined him. It was hard to tell if this was planned or not, however, the result was AMAZING!

NOTE: There were audio problems in the first part of this song. That's why you see Ryan walk over to David and ask "Do you want to start over?" David very clearly says "No"! And then this wonderful performance unfolded! One that we will always remember! Ryan tweeted this video the next day. It was a "Concert" moment!

That night was Epic! It truly was amazing . . . Maybe because I had the vibe of the audience surrounding me . . . there was literally and "electric" feeling in the air! Ryan and David are such good friends. And Ryan is a total sweetheart.. He will stay after each show and greet every fan that wants to meet him . . . and makes each person feel as if he is just their to meet them. That's a very special quality in anyone! ~L

Love David's reaction to Ryan going wild at 2:52. Just presh. Had to look at this as I get ready to attend Ryan's "11:59" CD Release Concert next Tuesday. I was at this concert and it was one of the best concerts I've ever attended. David Cook, Ryan Star & Crash Kings. A bill doesn't get any better than that!

@wehoscott Hey, Scott have a fantastic time in NYC @ Ryan's 11:59 release party. I listened to the record on the live stream a couple of days ago and it is wonderful! Ryan has worked so hard for this and I couldn't be happier for him . . .everytime that I hear "Breathe" on the radio it just puts a huge smile on my face! Thank You all so much for the great comments! This has been a Summer of "David" Concerts for me and It's one that I will always Remember. I like the studio version of this song, but I don't like watching Ryan do it live. I think he needs to chill lol. He overperforms and oversings and it takes away from the song. I only watched it because it was a duet with David....couldn't even hear David except for his solo part, so I'm not getting the excitement of the two of them together. If you could hear both their voices (and I watched David instead of Ryan), it would be better I would hope. I do at least like the studio version.

WOW i heard this song last week on the radio in Trinidad and absolutely luved been singin it for a week now.. i didnt knw it was same ryan star who opens for david.... and now i see they singing together???? OMG amazin!!... whoooooo cookieeeeee niceeeee
