@XosrovTheGreat Well I'm Irish but have Iranian relatives and it just never fails to amaze me how miserable Iranian music is. The Irish have a far more awful history but they're the happiest people on earth and produce a ridiculous amount of great, upbeat music. Iranian songs go like this: Love me or I will die/The sun reminds me of death/Every woman is a liar/Love me or I'll die...again. We have songs like this in Ireland too (The Wind That Shakes The Barley) but really...some FUN SONGS PLEASE?

@TodayFreedom NO, there is reason is that these Iranian traditional songs were basically a way of transferring knowledge and history and philosophy of the life. The lyrics are so deep in meaning that you can deliver such important messages while you’re laughing or … you need to be in these sort of moods to be able to transfer what you want. The traditional music was not just to have fun it was to teach some life lessons.
