Who was Ramon Magsaysay?? He's perhaps the greatest, the best president the Philippines ever had, bar none. Not Marcos, not Cory Aquino, not Gloria Macapagal,....
Under Magsaysay's leadership, the Philippines was ranked as among the best well-governed, least corrupt countries in Asia. Indeed, the 1950's saw the Philippines competing economically with Japan, Taiwan, Singapore,.....
But now, sadly, the Philippines is ranked as among the most corrupt in Asia.
