Alright what is up everyone?! This is the tutorial for opening a Slim Xbox 360 Console. I will tell you upfront that opening this console is much more difficult than a normal Phat xbox 360 Console.

To open it you will need a T8 and T10 Screw tamper resistant Wrench

Lupo there is a way to remove the touch sensitive electronic band where it plugs into the xbox from the faceplate you just pull it out.

is the slim really a dust magnet like the last ones? I have been using the slim for a while and I keep it in an area in my room that doesn't contract that much dust and I dust the area every week, should I really be concerned? Because this really seems like a pain in the ass to open.

any way to open slim without voiding warranty?

Got my xbox back from microsoft, I never opened it or tampered with it. I get a letter saying warranty was voided for seal removal and indications of attempted entry as indicated by the red arrows. On my xbox were red arrows pointing to a sticker THEY removed and marks THEY made while opening it. Would be mad, but they actually fixed the cd drive which technically wasnt supposed to be covered.
