when I made mine, my teacher made 1 solid and I made 1 with a pressed fit stem. the pressed fit stem spins alot longer than a solid. if you want to try it =)

i love it niceeeeeeee

if you use mild steel then the point just rounds out after a whyle
-
Needs more speed :P

very nice! ;)

Sorry if this sounds immature, but you really ought to use that against a beyblade O_O it'd be interesting
-
wow! Did you measure the rotational speed? What are the weight and size? Did you calculate its moment of inertia? I bet it spins for a long time.

Sweet! I want one of those. Thanks for sharing.

Is alloy steel strong?
Heavy?
That's awesome how loud it gets with the air pressure

Not so much strong as it is harder than plain steel. This prevents the tip from mashing. You could use regular steel and it would work just as well. I'd avoid aluminum or brass as they are not as hard of a metal.
