@SteffersFavourites If they were truly suffering then I GUARANTEE that this fish would be nearly lifeless, flopping around at the bottom of the tank. They would not live to the 20-30 years expected. They're fine, but they can't be placed with more energetic, aggressive fish like Comets because they will chase and hurt them.

i really want one for my fancy tank! where can i find them? does petsmart have them, or do you think my local fish store would have them? i like love these gold fish! do you think it be safe to order them of the internet?

@ATP6TS goldfish can change colour as they grow I have had a few change from black and orange to all orange etc. don't worry it's fine. By the way this tank is far to small. Your fancies will grow to around 6-8". This tank could keep one fancy.
