HRH The Prince of Wales took the salute as The Queen's Own Yeomanry were granted freedom of the City of Newcastle. They paraded through the city with Colours flying, drums beating and bayonets fixed. The parade was headed by The Band of The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (nice to see the DoM playing the side drum!) and the column consisted of officers, NCOs and other ranks, veterans and armoured reconnaissance vehicles of the TA Regiment. Prince Charles can be seen to the left of the shot, standing on the saluting dias.
