  • David Fanshawe was a fav of my world music class

  • @talblumberg where's your sense of culture?!

  • @CommentBoxify its the sanctus recited at christian mass.

  • the original soundtrack - excellent! would love to see the alternative version - on par with the original footage! ie. the tribal dances etc. from which Western music derives!

  • It's not "meant" to be anything . According to the composer (who i have met) it is the latin mass set to a more modern stuyle of classical music using the recordings he made on his journey thru Africa

  • Its not rubbish, but it makes me laugh because its 1) Meant to be rock/african fusion and it clearly isn't and 2) The choir make it seem cheesily ominous.

  • I love it... i cant see how you can say this is rubish music i love it (:

  • How can you all say this music is rubbish. This is the one of the most emotive and moving compositions ever. Listen to the whole body of music with the lyrics and read what Fanshawes mission was. This is still so relevant today. Amazing music Thanks David

  • this is the worst music I have ever heard.

had to sing it with my choir...

  • This is so funny, some of in class try and sing this, it works till you get to the faster parts.... :L
