Two of the loveliest songs ever heard "Off-Broadway!" They are "They Were You, " and "Try to Remember." Here, they're performed by lovely Jean Louisa Kelly, Joey McIntyre and Jonathan Morris. A real reason for celebration!

  • My favorite poem.

  • @awormyourhonor Thank you for writing, and your comment! Grateful to hear from you.

  • I loved Jerry Orbach as El Gallo. But Jonathon Morris owns this role! He has an amazing voice, and a very sexy voice and demeanor.

  • @hanshandslover Thanks for your comment. I think Mr. Morris did a fine job also. Though he seemed to have a semi-sinister part to play, his loneliness was beautifully captured on-screen! A great actor!

  • "They Were You" is lovely indeed.. I was lucky enough to see Jerry Ohrbach sing it at the Sullivan Theater--memorable it was, and is.

  • @11777766 Lucky you! What I wouldn't give to have seen Jerry in that role! I read recently where they've named, or partially named, a theater after him in the Broadway area. If any performer ever merited this award it was Mr. O! He was brilliant.

  • Did they include "Round and Round" in the movie? If they did, is there any chance you could post the clip?

  • @jacobsimon Thank you for your mention! They still give me "shivers!" Guess either I'm super-emotional, or they're that good! Delighted to hear from you!
