  • Beautiful, just beautiful. Dusty could deliver a song so powerfully and wring emotion from every note. I just want more and more. Is there any chance that the BBC or someone will oblige us with a sequel of her "live" performances on DVD?

  • Thanks for your comments Mycroftsbrother. I heard a while back that there were plans for more Dusty BBC DVDs in 2009. Here's wishing and hoping...

  • Well, I never! I didn't realize Dusty had made a recording of this, one of my favourite songs. She sang it beautifully too (as ever). She also mentioned Jack Jones. He was a very popular vocalist then. What became of him, does anyone know?

  • There's nobody like Dusty, My favorite female voice of all time. I've been listening to her since the sixties when I was a kid and my parent's would play her records on a big stereo console. I never get tired of her. I have this DVD, "Dusty Springfield: Live at the BBC", and every time I watch it I'm still like "Damn, that woman can sing". Her voice goes right to my core. I'm so glad there are still tons of people that love her. She deserves it.

  • Dusty takes every phrase of this song and performs the details to the T. She knows just when to look into the camera and look right through me with her beautiful dark eyes, and then use a hand gester in just the right spot to express another phrase. Details are so important and she definitely sticks to them at every point. I always feel she is singing to me and it captures my attention to the last note.

  • Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.

Salut, vous aimez les sixties ? Ecoutez et podcatez mon émission "le super son des sixties" sur plum fm. Salut et faites gaffe au rock'n roll.

  • ooh, at 2 mins in she can kiss me anyday...xx

  • still stunning more than 40 yrs later

  • I feel like Dusty truly felt the emotions she was portraying in her music. There is such sincerity in the way she shares that voice with us. I wish I could have heard her in person, but this is certainly the next best thing!

  • Breathtaking powerful! xoxo Dusty

  • this one is my favorite.....so intense

....those eyes look right through me ...love the lyrics....esp since we hadnt been to the moon yet....but I'd go anywhere with her.....when she feels strongly about a song she puts a lot of power behind it....yet parts of this are so intimate......it's so beautiful...thank you dusty for making me cry.......

  • BigBrotherDog April 30, 2010 - She's simply the best of the best female divas and too good to describe with words!
