EDIT: Josie was transferred to Amplatz Children's Hospital at the U of M. She was listed for a heart transplant. She was discharged with a G-tube and IV heart meds. She gets regular visits from a home care nurse. Still waiting for a heart.
EDIT #2: As of April 26th, 2011, Josie is back in the hospital. Her doctors are talking about the possibility of the "bridge to transplant" Berlin artificial heart. This pump would require another surgery.
EDIT #3: Brittanie's co workers are hosting a benefit for Josie! Sunday May 15th from 1-4pm at the End Zone Bar and Grill in Ramsey, MN. Come check it out!
EDIT #4: On Monday, May 16th, Josie had her Berlin surgery. It was a grueling 10 hours before Brittanie and Jeff could see their baby girl. She looked wonderful, considering. Keep this girl in your thoughts, she needs a heart!
EDIT #5: On Saturday, May 28th, Josie's heart came!
