Joker

This video was recorded at Kirov Theatre in Murmansk November 2007. The number is called Joker and it was part of a gala performance of The Barentz Turné produced by Stellaris Dans Teater, Norway. The poem resitated in the beginning of the number is Finnish folklore poem tranlated to Russian. It tells a story about t The Dance entering a village. Performer and choreographer is Tuomo Railo, the name of the musician and his music is unfortunately forgotten - the artistic co-operation between the dancer and the musician was invented the very day of the performance, the dance had previously been performed with much slower recorded music.
